    Blasphemy!

In our premiere performance as Ensemble in Residence, BoB – Best of Brass present well known classical works arranged for brass quintet we have been told off for performing over the years.     Australian Music for Brass

    In our second series concert, BoB – Best of Brass present works by contemporary Australian composers, encompassing the rich musical landscape of the country as well as brand new works written specifically for the group and/or occasion.

    Wondai & District Band Workshop

    2pm Wondai RSL Club 87 MacKenzie Street, Wondai, QLD 4606, Australia

    The Wondai & District Brass Band will be hosting a visit to the South Burnett by the Best Of Brass (BoB)
    Quintet – five of Australia’s leading brass musicians – later this month.
    The quintet has been described as a “bold and brassy ensemble” and will perform an eclectic assortment of
    works for brass, ranging from modern pieces to the Renaissance.
    The Bob Quintet has been brought to the South Burnett by the South Burnett Regional Council’s RADF fund
    and will be performing one show only at the Wondai RSL Club from 2:00pm on Sunday, August 12.

    Brass and Percussion

    To round off the year, BoB – Best of Brass in collaboration with international percussion ensemble Sonamus Duo present a variety of works in an enthralling combination of lyrical and percussive soundscapes. Mainly concentrating on works from the 20th century, this concert includes both popular favourites as well as works on the cutting edge of their time.
